Preparation for the Indefinite Leave to Remain or British Citizenship Trinity’s GESE Grade 5 oral exam (CEFR B1)

Passing the Indefinite Leave to Remain or British Citizenship Trinity’s GESE Grade 5 oral exam (CEFR B1) is part of the UK citizenship application procedure.

The exam is 10 minutes long and consists of two parts:

  • Presenting your own topic that you choose and prepare in advance of the test, for discussion with the examiner
  • A short conversation with the examiner about two subjects chosen by the examiner out of 6 set topics.

We will help you learn the necessary vocabulary and grammar required to pass the exam. We will prepare the exam topics with you, making sure that they are 100% correct and contain all the necessary language structures that are required. We will write your main topic together with you and we will rehearse it with you. If your knowledge of English is not high enough to take this exam, we will tell you what you need to learn before attempting the exam, and will offer you a preparatory course to fill in the gaps in your knowledge, and improve your general level of English.

All our students who have been studying with us over the recent years have passed this test successfully.
